Jason has been playing basketball most of his life. He played four years
of varsity high school basketball at Friends' Central School, where he was teammates with numerous Division I stars,
including Mustafa Shakur (Arizona), and Michael Cook (Pittsburgh). Jason was also high school teammates with NBA player
Hakim Warrick (Memphis Grizzlies).
Jason played four years varsity basketball at Haverford College. He was
named team Most Improved Player for the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 seasons, as well as the team Most Valuable Player for the
2005-2006 season. Jason was named Sam Cozen Small College Player of the Week and played in the Sam Cozen Small College All-Star
game during the 2005-2006 season. He was awarded Honorable Mention Jewish All-American after his senior season at Haverford
College.
Presently Jason teaches, coaches and is the Sports Information Director
at Friends' Central School. Besides coaching the Friends' Central School men's basketball team, Jason has coached at
various camps, clinics and leagues around the Philadelphia area. He has also given personal basketball lessons to local middle
school and high school athletes.
Jason loves the sport of basketball and wants to share all he knows
about the game. He is hardworking and values players who want to improve their basketball abilities. He believes if you
are willing to work hard for something you believe in, the sky is the limit!
