Imran attended
high school in Connecticut where he played Varsity basketball for one of the top teams in the state. Coming out of high
school he was a very highly touted player and was heavily recruited by Haverford College. Though injuries held him back
throughout a large portion of his career, Imran battled through these injuries and through hard work and dedication persevered,
becoming a key contributor by his senior year.
Imran played vital roles in helping to lead Haverford College to consecutive playoff
berths, a first in school history, as well as its first playoff victory during the 2004-2005 season.
Imran is a tenacious
defender and rebounder, and throughout his career has demonstrated an incredible ability to slash to the hoop and finish. He exhibits a sound understanding of the fundamentals inherent in the game of basketball
and looks forward to improving you or your child’s skills.
Imran is currently performing medical research in his year off before attending medical
school.
